SEPT 18th: DirtyPilot.com "Friends With Knives" Stencil Group Show curated by PaperMonster

DirtyPilot.com and PaperMonster have teamed up to present a wonderful range of skill and creativity from some of today's most talented stencil artists from all over the globe. On Sept 18th DirtyPilot.com (HERE) will open their first stencil group show titled "Friends With Knives" curated by PaperMonster. The stencil art show will exhibit pioneers, established and up-and-coming stencil artists such as: LECKOmio (HERE) , E.L.K. (HERE) , SOULE (HERE) , Peat Wallaeger (HERE) , PaperMonster (HERE) , L.E.T. (HERE), Nathan Phaneuf (HERE), A1One (HERE) , Billy Mode , Ben Slow (HERE) , Koleszar (HERE), Dave Lowell (HERE) , Mefee (HERE) , Roy Schreuder (HERE) , and HAHA (HERE). This show aims at demonstrating the variety of stencil art techniques in both message and style at a global level with artists from Iran, Germany, USA, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Stencil graffiti art continues to be a powerful growing force in todays art world and it is this level of talent that is pushing the field of stencils into beautiful new heights.

PaperMonster Stickers in Indonesia

I just received these photos of PaperMonster stickers in Indonesia sent over by Fiky. Did you know that Indonesia is in Southeast Asia and made up of 17,508 islands? Thanks Wikipedia. How far is that from New Jersey/New York? It is about 10 THOUSAND miles away. Painting With A Hand Brush??

Leslie Granda-Hill (HERE) sent over some beautiful photos of lasts weeks panting session in Trenton, NJ. These are by far my favorite photos. In the first picture you can see my technique of using my hand as a paint brush. I use my hands to paint, paste, and spray my stencils on canvas so it is something I feel comfortable doing on a wall, eventhough the washing my hands part is not fun when there is no running water around. OPENING PHOTOS: Jinxed Gallery Philadelphia Group Show feat PaperMonster

This past weekends group show over at Jinxed Gallery was great!! The show opens August 28th and PaperMonster will be there handing out stickers, signing everything from t-shirts to socks or even a simple sticky note if you bring it. PHOTOS: Jersey Fresh Graffiti Jam 2009 Trenton, NJ

This years Trenton, NJ Jersey Fresh Graffiti Jam which is part of the NJ Graffiti Festival (HERE) was a great time painting along some old and new friends and some very talented graff artists. It was originally scheduled for Saturday but was pushed to Sunday due to Hurricane Bill. You can catch images of the entire days progress and highlights from the event.
