ArtWhino Gallery x TAGUR (Photos) Group Show

It is truly difficult to put into words the amazing opening night that Art Whino and TAGUR put on this past Saturday night over at National Harbor, MD. It was a wonderful show full of talented artist and their take on custom sneakers. One of the biggest surprises of the night was to see the Fall release of the PaperMonster skate deck(only $65.00) from ADM Skateboards (www.admskateboards.com.) The full release is COMING SOON but make sure to contact shane@artwhino.com if you want to get your hands on the decks EARLY. They are going extremely fast and you can check out photos of some of the buyers from the night below. It was a great chance to meet many new faces and catch up with friends from past Art Whino shows such as Adam Russell and JAZI. Check out more photos of the festivities below. This year that dream came true and I am incredibly excited to be one of 15 international artist chosen for their group show. PaperMonster's Brooklyn Adventure

I took some time this weekend to go on a nice adventure in Brooklyn. It was a great chance to leave some free street art pieces around for people to take if they came across them. It is the beginning of what I hope to be an ongoing project of installed art both permanent and temporary. "I Am 8-Bit Show" Aug14th feat PaperMonster (Hollywood, Cali)

PaperMonster will be showing two new original works for the I Am 8-Show in Hollywood, California. The show will open on August 14th from 8pm-Midnight and it will host works from hundreds of artist celebrating videogame culture. It is a gigantic showcase of videogame inspired art that will truly bring on nostalgia from you childhood years!! You can check out the two pieces from PaperMonster in the show. The first piece is inspired by Mario Paint and the second is inspired by the Metroid game series. I love both pieces and the look incredible in real life. Make sure to mark you calendars for what will be a massive showing over at Art Whino (http://www.artwhino.com/) on August 2nd from 6pm to midnight. The show is in collaboration with TAGUR and each artist was given one blank TAGUR sneaker to customize. In addition, each artist was also asked to create one original canvas piece to go along with the shoe for the show. The amount of artist in attendance will be legendary and you can check out the list below on the flyer for the show. If you are in the area it is a show that you can not miss and if you are out of town it is surely a show you want to drive down to. BOWL-A-RAMA 2 show for CryBaby Art Gallery feat PaperMonster Sept 27th

There are many great shows in the upcoming months of Aug, Sept, and Oct which will feature work from PaperMonster and added to the incredible lineup of shows is Bowl-A-Rama II which is being put together by CryBaby Art Gallery and Kirsten Easthope. It is scheduled to be a huge show with incredible artist who will each customize bowling pins which will go up on display with the surrounding art. I had the honor of visiting the lanes and was impressed by the layout and degree/range of art that is up for show/sale.
